Jessica Peat, Principal Architect
Jessica has spent over 17 years dedicating her time and energy serving many clients while creating a variety of spaces. Her client list includes educators, business owners, developers, students, public officials, government agencies and even shelter animals. She has designed and managed projects for offices, workrooms, family businesses, schools, animal shelters, multi-family housing and automotive retail. Building consensus around a boardroom table or a community planning panel involves a unique balance of understanding, compassion and strength. Her ability to bring multiple opinions and perspectives together will lead to a project that serves all interests and brings quality and function.
Outside of her practice, Jessica has served as President of the Agnew Family Foundation. AFF provides private grants on an annual basis to charities that focus on enhancing the lives of children, while also nurturing family unity and cohesion through giving. Jessica participated in her local chapter of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and led their International Outreach Committee with a focus on serving the refugee population in Southern California. For 8 years, Jessica served on the Board of Directors for a non-profit housing developer in San Diego that provides permanent supportive housing to people with special needs. Often, these clients have a history of chronic homelessness and mental health issues - truly the population that needs stability and the comfort of "home" the most. She led the organization, as Chairman of the Board and alongside an excellent executive staff, out of the recession and into many development opportunities, including a focus on serving the veteran population.
